COVID-19 Weddings update

We have exciting news that sheds hope toward a return to wedding normalcy!

On Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health loosened COVID-19 Restrictions regarding mass gatherings. Language present within November 16th’s order restricting activities in open congregate areas, including dancing, are no longer present in the March amendment. Venues must continue to enforce compliance of the order for facial coverings and social distancing as well as two other orders related to seating, dining, and buffet catering. However, the previously issued 300-person limitation has been lifted and multiple families may now be seated at a single table of no more than 10. These changes offer relief to many couples who have been challenged to plan guest lists, seating charts, and event timelines to fit the now-lifted restrictions. Feel free to read the Director’s Orders for yourself on the Governor of Ohio’s Website. Restrictions to be most aware of are contained within the orders signed on March 2nd, 2021, February 11th, 2021, September 23rd, 2020, and July 23rd, 2020.
