Congratulations to the newlyweds, Kali & Eric! We were honored to Bring Your Vision to Light at the Rockin' Horse Ranch in Sandusky, Ohio this past Saturday, July 17th .
Rockin' Horse Ranch, aka Rockin' Horse Saloon and Rockin' Horse Dance Hall, is one of the more unique event venues in the Sandusky area. The facility boasts a Banquet Hall, Saloon, and Grill complete with an outdoor area perfect for wedding ceremonies. The spacious banquet hall welcomes parties of up to 275 guests with on-site catering and bar service available.
Kali & Eric's wedding reception was held one year following a small ceremony in 2020. Though many of the year's newlyweds opted to cancel receptions, Kali & Eric found themselves in awe and overjoyed with their decision to reschedule. Met with a standing ovation of their family and friends, their Grand Entrance was also their first look at the fully decorated and mood-lit banquet hall!
Until that moment, the couple had only seen the space with white linens illuminated by overhead work lights. They knew they had booked a Wedding DJ/MC, a Photo Booth, and Venue Lighting to compliment the hall's existing bistro lights, tree lights, and chandelier. However, they underestimated the finished look, complete with compliments to their wedding colors, all tied-together by our professional lighting designer.
The wedding photo booth accompanied by its photo guest book activity was a huge hit, as always. Guests of all ages spent the evening taking an unlimited number of photos. During cocktail hour everyone was sure to add a photo to the scrapbook and write a heartfelt message for Kali & Eric. Later, many returned again and again for an opportunity to take pictures with various friends, relatives, and the newlyweds!
After dinner and all the wedding formalities, DJ Eddie kept the dance floor full and exciting for both the young and young at heart. Our controlled, intelligent dance floor lighting instilled the whole room with energy while the groom was most impressed with the quality of bass produced by our sound equipment. As seen below, even the wedding photographers were amazed and just had to capture shots of the lighting!
We are incredibly thankful they chose to keep their wedding plans, allowing us to make their dream wedding reception a reality. This evening at Rockin' Horse Ranch was truly a night to remember, both in the photo booth and out on the dance floor, at a spectacular venue that became uniquely Kali & Eric's!
